What’s Brewing? This week we brewed a fresh batch of Hopasaurus Rex IPA and a new brew called Vinterøl, (pronounced veen-ter-ul) which is Norwegian for Winter Ale. It’s a winter ale inspired by traditional Finnish Sahti beer and by Norwegian Juleøl (Christmas Ale). It’s a malt-focused beer with some rye added for spiciness and juniper berries added to the whirlpool, which are very common in traditional Scandinavian brewing. Look for it to be released in late December.

What’s Filtering? This week we filtered a fresh batch of “400” Honey Ale and this year’s Bridge Out Stout. I know that quite a few of you are waiting for the stout to be released, so look for it in late November or early December.
